Hello - I'm David Cox


My name is David Cox and I'll be your instructor for IDST120 this Spring 2009 semester at CCSF Mission Campus.

My background is in both motion picture production and videogame production. I live in the Mission area of San Francisco. I make films, write and teach at both CCSF and DeVry University Online.

My background is British/Australian, and I have been a long term visitor to the Bay Area since the early 1990s, when I first met San Francisco film makers at a film festival in Europe.

Welcome to Storytelling & Storyboarding for Multimedia

This course is designed to aid the student in the generation and development of content for their media projects. By referencing and using traditional storytelling methods, personal writing, script writing techniques and exercises in and outside of the classroom, the student will explore multiple ways to generate and script content. Emphasis put on development of skills and techniques of storyboarding as well as in the use of dedicated storyboarding software.
